POSITION: Marketing Compliance Manager

SUPERVISOR: Vice President of Compliance

WORK LOCATION: Dell Rapids/Sioux Falls SD; Hybrid (20% WFH)

WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with a willingness to monitor email and other systems during nonbusiness hours in case of a critical matter and able for additional hours that may be
occasionally required in order to meet time- sensitive deliverables and deadlines.

Required Skills:
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate (verbally and written) complex information and effectively present outcomes and positions in a way that maintains a positive and productive relationship both internally and externally to Central Payments.
• Strong knowledge with applicable network payment rules.
• Strong understanding with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance documents that impact prepaid cards and the payments industry including: UDAAP, Regulation E, Regulation P, Prepaid Rule, etc.
• Sound understanding of USA PATRIOT Act, money transmitter requirements, Prepaid Access rules, and Standards for Safeguarding Nonpublic Personal Information.
• Strong knowledge of compliance auditing principles, methodology, sampling techniques and risk identification.
• Ability to display good judgment as well as resourcefulness, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects and related tasks.
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensure the ability to address remediation quickly and effectively.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects, and people.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

• Five years of compliance experience, with very recent experience in payments industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, management, or related field.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Manage and oversee Collateral Submission process (creation of forms for new Partners, ensure SLAs are met, assign items to reviewers, etc.)
• Oversee the prioritization of all marketing related submissions based on contractual SLAs.
• Review and approve marketing collateral submissions from Partners.
• Assists in developing marketing submission guidelines for partners based on Association/Network rules and regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes to and ensure conformance with Association and Network rules and regulations affecting the various product offerings.
• Work directly and professionally with partners and business lines on the review of and any issues with marketing materials and related questions.
• Manage the Compliance marketing audit schedule to ensure audits are completed timely and in compliance with Central Payments Policies.
• Administer required annual partner Marketing Compliance training and ensure tracking of attestation from all.
• Update Partner marketing trainings as needed to enhance training and ensure any new requirements are outlined clearly.
• Develop and maintain marketing guidance documents for Partners.
• Creation and approval of related desktop procedures.
• Manage relationship with Compliance Consultant. (Assign tasks, invoice approval, time management, etc.)
• Identify process improvements for compliance marketing processes.
• Collaboratively participate in, and contribute to, any committee that you are assigned to.
• Evaluate reports to be presented to executive management/committees on compliance marketing items to ensure adequately prepared.
• Manage direct reports and complete performance assessments and coaching on processes.
• Manage training of new compliance marketing team members.
• Assist with escalation items from marketing compliance analysts.
• Elevate new compliance tools available and provide assessment to Executive Management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
